Only 15 minutes from the M4 we dropped in to break our return journey from N. Pembrokeshire. It's a lovely site with a variety of birds to see. We didn't have time to explore the wider site but managed to see some waders in the scrapes from the hides. A nice cafe and the staff are lovely.

Incredible views, birds, and environment for me and my 3 children. We often come here and always feel welcome by the lovely staff and volunteers. There is also a wonderful selection of food in the Café, and a visit is not complete without a trip to the eclectic gift shop!

Accessibility for motor scooter was brilliant. Got to see the whole of the park not just parts like other places. Many viewing points were stunning, my one and only downside was there were no lower windows for wheelchairs or scooters to look out of and the stools were far to tall to sit and use my camera etc. I am able to , manoeuvre but I feel sorry for those who couldn’t. Still five stars as 99.9% was available to me. Thanks to organisers for a great day.

Spent a lovely few hours at the WWT Llanelli a couple of weeks ago. We spent time in the Sir Peter Scott hide and were lucky enough to see 4 juvenile male Kingfishers. This was a treat for sure, and they didn't seem in any rush to leave, so ample photos taken. Lots of other birds and ducks visited the lake, including egrets & Herons. We then walked around a main pathway to one of the forest points as the sign said another hide was there. Unfortunately, this was closed, but nothing en route to say it was closed. There are several areas around the main lake with shuttering up, that you can stand behind with various opening s at different levels, but no seating, therefore anyone with mobility issues wouldnt be able to stay for any length of time. We noticed that some of the wooden bridges over wetland, marshes were in need of some maintenance, and these areas appeared to be rather overgrown, limiting what could be seen. I also walked around the more managed areas with gates access to various pools and some details on the types of birds you should expect to see. The flamingos were probably the noisiest. £11 entrance fee for all day I felt is acceptable as this includes parking. However, I would love to visit more just to the hides but wouldn't be able to £11 for as often as I would want to visit, that is the only downside as I see it.
